Embracing a Scientific Approach

Before our founder envisioned AmICredible, and before his 15 years in healthcare technology and product strategy, Dan was trained as a physicist. That's where he learned the discipline of the scientific method.

Today, the scientific method shapes how we approach the challenge of misinformation.

This way of thinking doesn’t stay in the lab, it becomes how you approach problems. It shapes how you evaluate claims, and how you separate what feels right from what can actually be supported by evidence.

That lens is the reason that we see today’s information crisis differently than most people. In physics, you don't accept a result just because someone stated it confidently. The scientific method, at its core, is a way to evaluate claims against evidence systematically and transparently.

AmICredible applies that same logic at scale. It gives anyone, regardless of their background, a way to test a claim, trace it to its sources, and understand how well it holds up before they amplify it.

We Did the Research. Here's What We Learned.

A December 2025 survey of 300+ respondents validated demand for a dedicated credibility intelligence platform, distinct from existing fact-checkers. Users expressed a clear need for multi-dimensional evaluation, not just claim verification.

Market Readiness

80.1% of respondents said they would use a credibility tool like AmICredible.

Revenue Potential

64.5% said they are willing to pay for a credibility tool.

Existing Behavior

66.4% already cross-check AI tools against each other, showing sophisticated verification behavior.



Journalism

Newsrooms are under pressure to verify faster and publish responsibly with institutional accountability for what they publish. Credibility infrastructure is a newsroom need, not a nice-to-have.



Education

K–12 and higher education institutions are facing a generation of students who lack structured frameworks for evaluating information. Critical thinking is now a core curriculum priority at scale.
